We are excited to announce that Belén Herrera, a skilled mining engineer, will join our Geological Engineering Laboratory to pursue a Master's in Mining and Climate Change, supported by the Center for Copper and Mining Studies (CESCO).
Belén, a graduate of University of Chile, has a strong commitment to sustainable mining practices. Her Master's research will focus on mitigating the climate impact of mining operations, exploring strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency.
